Mercedes-Benz Vito Van Transfers in Athens
Greek holidays usually mean more luggage than a sedan can take, especially for families and groups heading to the islands. Our Mercedes-Benz Vito vans are built for exactly this.
Space for people and luggage. The Vito carries a family or small group together with their suitcases, so nobody needs to split into two taxis.
Ideal for ferry days. One vehicle, one chauffeur and one fixed price take your whole group from the airport to the quay.
Comfortable on longer routes. Air-conditioning, rear-passenger space and sliding doors make the Vito a good choice for day trips to Delphi or Nafplio.
Great for events. Wedding parties, corporate teams and yacht charter guests travel together and arrive together.
Tell us your group size and luggage when you book, and we’ll confirm whether a sedan, a Vito van or more than one vehicle suits you best.
Athens Airport Transfer: What to Expect at ATH
Athens International Airport is in Spata, about 30 to 35 km east of central Athens. The drive to the city centre usually takes 35 to 45 minutes.
Your chauffeur is waiting. With meet-and-greet, your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, helps with your luggage and walks you to the vehicle.
Summer arrivals are covered. In summer, many flights land within a short time and queues at passport control and baggage reclaim grow. We track your flight and adjust your pickup to when you actually reach arrivals, with no extra charge for delays.
A fixed price for the whole vehicle. Airport taxis charge flat fares to the city centre, but routes to the ports and the Riviera outside that zone use the meter and tolls. Every Athens airport transfer we provide is a fixed price per vehicle, including tolls, confirmed before you fly.
Check flight information on the official Athens International Airport website before you travel.
Athens Airport Transfer to the Ferry Ports
Athens has three ferry ports, and they’re not interchangeable. Check your ferry ticket before you book, because the right port depends on your island.
Rafina — about 15 to 20 km from the airport, around 20 to 35 minutes. Rafina serves Mykonos, Andros and Tinos, and is the closest port to the airport.
Lavrio — about 40 to 50 km, around 35 to 60 minutes. Lavrio is the main port for Kea and Kythnos.
Piraeus— about 44 km, around 45 to 60 minutes. Piraeus is Greece’s largest port, serving Santorini, Paros, Naxos, Crete, the Dodecanese and the Saronic islands. Its departure gates stretch for several kilometres along the waterfront, so tell us your gate and we’ll drop you at the right one.
Ferries leave on time even when flights land late. Your chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you in arrivals and takes you directly to the quay. If your connection is tight, tell us when you book and we’ll plan the transfer with as much buffer as possible.

Day Trips from Athens
Some of Greece’s best-known sights are within easy reach of Athens. We plan private day trips with your chauffeur waiting at each stop:
Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon — about 1 hour 15 minutes from Athens, best at sunset.
The Corinth Canal and Ancient Corinth — about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Nafplio, Mycenae and Epidaurus — a full day, about 2 hours each way.
Delphi — about 2 hours 30 minutes each way.
The Vito van is the most comfortable choice for families and groups on these longer days.
Hourly Chauffeur Hire in Athens
Hourly hire keeps the vehicle and chauffeur with you for as long as you need them. It suits business days with several meetings, and sightseeing at the Acropolis and its museum, Plaka, the Panathenaic Stadium and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Your belongings stay in the car, your chauffeur waits nearby, and you move when you’re ready. A minimum booking period applies, and we confirm the full price when we quote.
Private Aviation Transfers in Athens
Private jets at Athens International Airport use the General Aviation Terminal, with handlers including Signature, Universal Aviation, ExecuJet (operated by JetSet Aviation), Goldair Handling and Sky Valet, and customs and immigration on site.
We provide transfers between the General Aviation Terminal and your hotel, yacht or residence, timed to your aircraft rather than an arrivals board. Share your handler, aircraft tail number and estimated arrival time when you book, and we’ll adjust the pickup if your schedule changes. Many private clients continue straight to a yacht at the marinas in Vouliagmeni, Alimos or Lavrio, and we can take you there directly.
Black Drive is an independent chauffeur service and is not affiliated with Athens International Airport or any of the operators listed above.
